New York Wild Film Festival Opening Night

Return to EventsI am honored to be hosting opening night of the New York Wild Film Festival. We’re screening Best Adventure Film, “8000+”, and the Best Impact Film, “Kifaru,” about the last northern white rhinos on the planet and their selfless Kenyan caretakers. Following the film, I am thrilled that rhino keeper Joseph “JoJo” Wachira will be there with the wonderful Director David Hambridge . The three of us will have a compelling Q&A that you won’t want to miss. For the first time ever, I will speak with Joseph in a public form about his life, his work with the northern white rhinos and that heartbreaking final goodbye to Sudan, the last male northern white rhino on the planet who passed away in March of 2018.
